What does Cassia mean?

The Cassia tree symbolizes strength, resilience, and renewal. Known for its vibrant yellow blossoms and ability to thrive in diverse environments, the cassia tree represents hope, vitality, and the enduring beauty of nature. It often signifies prosperity and positivity, making it a popular symbol in various cultures and traditions. The oils from a cassia tree have been used to annoint one in connection with their most divine self.

Cassia Collective draws on this idea of strength, resilience, and renewal and just like the tree we find ourselves rooted in community while growing together.

How does Cassia measure success of their programs?

Cassia believes that healing women heal their communities. We purposefully aim to support a diverse group of women through our programs and offerings and know that this support will ripple out to the greater community.

Our subsidy and grant recipients have demonstrated financial need and work with our programs and providers to determine healing options for them and their communities. We collect stories of healing journeys and track the self reported development and healing of each recipient.
